Independence From Merchants
No Pay-for-Play
SnugGym does not accept payment, free products, or any compensation from manufacturers in exchange for coverage, favorable reviews, or placement in recommendation roundups.
Product Acquisition
All products analyzed on SnugGym are evaluated using publicly available specifications, manufacturer documentation, and aggregated user feedback. We do not request or accept free products from manufacturers for review purposes. Learn more about our product sourcing.
Advertising Separation
If advertising is ever introduced on SnugGym:
- Advertisers will have no influence on editorial content
- Advertising will be clearly distinguished from editorial content
- Sponsored content, if any, will be clearly labeled as such
- Affiliate links and advertising will be managed by separate teams
Content Update Requirements
Stale content is unreliable content. All SnugGym pages are subject to scheduled review cycles:

- New user feedback patterns emerge that meaningfully change a product’s evaluation
- Significant price shifts place a product in a different value tier

All content on SnugGym is research-backed editorial analysis. We analyze published specifications and aggregated user data — we do not claim hands-on testing we have not conducted. Learn more about our methodology.
Prohibited Content Patterns
The following are never permitted in SnugGym content:
- Exaggerated superlatives: “revolutionary,” “game-changing,” “incredible”
- Filler introductions: “In today’s fast-paced world…”
- False urgency: “Don’t miss out,” “Limited time,” “Act now”
- Fabricated testing claims: “we tested,” “our review found” (when referring to hands-on testing not performed)
- Unsubstantiated absolutes: “the best” without qualification or comparison context
- Anthropomorphism: “This treadmill wants to help you…”

This authority is exercised independently of affiliate revenue considerations. No individual or entity outside the Editorial Team can override a content decision for commercial reasons.
